Hi! I am Poonam. Happy mother to an over enthusiastic little 4 year old boy, Bubba and a cute little 5 month old princess, Bubbles
When I am not working on my blog, I like to travel and read books. I am a complete fan of Grey’s Anatomy (I know, I know!!) and love winding down on the couch on Fridays watching some Netflix. I try to be very organised in my life, to the tune that my husband thinks I might have OCD; but I feel its always better when you have a clear vision of what is in store for you next.
My journey into parenthood began in 2016 when my little dude was born. After a difficult pregnancy, when I finally held him in my arms, I realised what life’s true meaning is. Until then, my career was my passion. I was a pure workaholic and never truly understood the meaning of FAMILY. But that day in September 2016, changed my perspective towards life so much.
I still am that go-getter, hustler and passionate working woman but I am now also more mindful of my existence in this world. I truly believe in being a role model for my children and; want to provide quality education to raise mindful and innovative kids. With that thought in mind, I started on this journey called GUIDING TOMORROW, where my goal is to spread love, encourage thoughtfulness and inspire other parents who like me want to create a better next generation. I started creating learning activities when my little dude was 18 months old. I enjoyed creating and designing fun interactive little plays for him; and took pride when he loved playing with it equally. I work in a 9-5 job on weekdays but we always try to squeeze in some playful learning activities in our daily life as and when possible. A lot of friends and relatives suggested I share my ideas with other beautiful parents that are looking for inspiration and that is how this blog + my Etsy shop was born.
I hope that my blog and my shop helps you, inspires you and encourages you to GUIDE a better TOMORROW. A tomorrow that is so much more accomplished than us in every aspect of life.
I am always grateful to GOD to have given me this opportunity to be able to connect and make a difference to this world, however small it might be.
